Goal: Last player standing. The player with the lowest hand total is eliminated each round — until one remains and takes the pot.
Standard Rules
- Setup: All players ante stars into the pot. Each player draws 5 cards.
- Rounds: 4+ players play 3 rounds; 3 players play 2 rounds; 2 players play 1 round (or a Best of 3 Duel — see below).
- Commit phase (simultaneous): Secretly select card(s), then everyone reveals at once. You must keep enough cards in hand for each remaining round.
- Final round: All remaining cards are committed — no holding back.
- Scoring: Ranks 2–10 count at face value. Aces count as 11. Lowest total loses the round and is eliminated.
- Sudden Death (tie): Tied players each draw 3 hidden options and pick 1 simultaneously. Lowest drawn card loses. Repeat until a single loser remains.
- Winner: Last player alive takes the pot. In the final round, highest total wins (ties go to Sudden Death).
- Bankroll: Stars persist across games in the same room. The host sets starting stars and ante in the lobby.
- Bots: The host can add bots between games. Each bot has a named play style listed on their panel.
1v1 Duel Format
When exactly two players start a game, it becomes a Best of 3 Duel. Each round is a full hand (5 cards, 3 commits). The first player to lose 2 rounds is eliminated. Stars pay out only at the end of the duel.
Game Modes
💥 Exploding Cards
Matching ranks multiply in value: a pair of 7s scores (7×2)×2 = 28 instead of 14. Three of a kind triples that again. Building combos is now a strategy — and a risk.
🔻 Low Ground
The highest hand loses each round instead of the lowest. Aces count as 1. High cards become liabilities. The entire read of the table flips.
🔀 Mulligan Two
After your 5 cards are dealt, you must discard exactly 2 and draw 2 replacements before play begins. No option to keep your hand.
🃏 Stacked Deck
Before play begins you may swap up to 2 cards — or keep your hand entirely. After that, Exploding scoring applies. Use your swap to chase pairs and combos.

The Gambit Circuit
A solo campaign across five locations in the Frontier. At each stop you sit down against a fixed table of opponents, and each city has their own rules. You must eliminate every opponent to advance. Survive to progress to the next table in the next city over.
Stars carry forward between stops — a strong run compounds. A bad stop can set you back but won't end your run unless you go broke. Go broke and Sasquatch Sam finds you first for a rescue duel: win it and you get another shot at the table. Lose it and the circuit resets.
