Solshade Lament

Daybreak

Born of light But shadow-bound The sun it burns The dark underground Radiance cracks like a brittle crown
Hunted by the church’s creed Their totems bleed Their scriptures feed On fear On flame On broken need
I am a Solshade The cursed The divine They seek to snuff what’s truly mine Light and shadow A tethered line I am a Solshade That’s not a crime
Crystal towers hum and glow Mana flows But hearts grow cold A gift to all Yet the debt I owe
Blades of zeal They carve my name An outlaw saint A heretic’s flame The light they worship is not the same
What is pure What is right When truth is buried in endless night
I am a Solshade The cursed The divine Light and shadow Bound in twine I walk that edge And call it mine
